This is a 20 hr per week part time position
POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinator for Drop-In Center. Plans community-based activities and transports consumers to and from these activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Plans community-based activities and solicits for ticket donations to local events.
• Picks up participants from residences and transports them to and from Drop-In Center sponsored activities.
• Provides general oversight during the outing, such as coordinating with business or venue/ensuring participants meet back at the van at the designated time, etc.
• Maintains Beacon Mental Health vans, including but not limited to: ensuring gas tank is full; ensuring van is cleaned and maintained after every trip; ensuring all safety features of the van are in working order and corrects and/or reports issues to the PSRC Manager as needed.
• Completes necessary documentation of van logs.
• Assist will occasional coverage for PSR activities as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Education/Certifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR/First Aid;
• Valid Class E Driver’s License
Experience Required
• Up to one years’ experience preferred
Skills/Abilities:
• Good communication skills
• Ability to drive large passenger vehicles;
• Ability to follow and apply all safety standards required.
• The ability to maintain composure in potentially stressful and/or loud conditions.
