POSITION SUMMARY
Provides integrated therapy to individuals experiencing mental health disorders and substance use disorders. This position is a member of the Adult CPRP integrated treatment team, which provides evidence-based practices for Co-Occurring Disorders. The integrated treatment therapist conducts education and therapy groups for co-occurring disorders and acts as the IT specialist for the CPRP integrated team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provides individual therapy to persons experiencing co-occurring disorders by utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy and relapse prevention. Provides community based therapy when appropriate.
• Provides co-occurring group counseling and/or group education as needed. This may occur at the agency or a community based setting.
• Ensures an integrated assessment is completed on each consumer and accurately reflects the need for co-occurring treatment.
• Works in coordination with Director or CPRP and ES to ensure team remains in fidelity with integrated treatment model.
• Maintains billable expectation and complete all paperwork in adherence to agency timelines.
• Works in collaboration with the integrated treatment team to ensure treatment plans are person centered and reflect appropriate stage-based treatment. Actively participates in weekly team meetings, providing consultation and education to team members.
• Provides new employee orientation to new members of the Integrated Treatment Team.
• Liaisons with community self-help groups and facilitate referral and participation of persons served.
• Coordinates the implementation and provision of family psychoeducation support groups.
• Provides updated information and training, as appropriate, to the integrated treatment team regarding new and emerging treatment approaches for persons with co-occurring conditions
• Participates in assessment team and serves as a backup clinician for crisis response, conducting integrated intake assessments when needed.
• Completes all clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
• Qualified SA Professional: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP –P, RSAP-P
• Missouri Clinical License Preferred: LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist
• CPR/First Aid Certification required
• Valid driver’s license plus minimum state-mandated auto insurance required.
Experience Required:
• 3 years of position-related experience required
• 5+ years of position-related experience preferred.
Required Knowledge:
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior mental health and/or substance use knowledge required.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices in behavioral health.
• Prior healthcare technology software experience preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present healthcare information in an understandable manner to both individuals and groups as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
• The ability to develop and present various presentations, trainings, and programs on various clinical topics.
• Ability to travel locally and occasionally state-wide or nationally for training, seminars, and presentations.
