Description
POSITION SUMMARY 
Responsible for providing administrative support for the Front Desk Team.   Primary responsibilities scheduling and back up responsibilities to the front desk and switchboard operator. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responds to calls/messages to schedule/reschedule appointments within required timelines (same day). 
• Provides daily back-up to the front desk and switchboard operator.
• Assists staff with scheduling/rescheduling psych evaluations and med checks as needed.
• Completes daily entry for consumer appointments as “no-shows” and “cancellations” into the EMR as needed. 
• Provides support to front desk associates to ensure daily tasks are completed, and coordinates and communicates any issues with front desk Manager. 
• Maintains clinician schedules in AVATAR.
• Assists with training front desk staff to ensure they can complete job tasks. 
• Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned by a supervisor.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associates or Technical degree preferred.

Experience Required:
• 1 – 3 years of demonstrated prior employment experience required. 

Required Knowledge:
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher).  
• Prior use of electronic medical records a plus. 

Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent phone and interpersonal skills.  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
