Position Summary
Van driver for consumer run Drop-In Center. Transports consumers to and from Drop-In Center sponsored activities held at various locations in the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Picks up participants from residences and transports them to and from Drop-In Center sponsored activities.

Provides general oversight during the outing, such as coordinating with business or venue/ensuring participants meet back at the van at the designated time, etc.

Maintains Tri-County vans, including but not limited to: ensuring gas tank is full; ensuring van is cleaned and maintained after every trip; ensuring all safety features of the van are in working order and corrects and/or reports issues to the PSRC Manager as needed.

Completes necessary documentation of van logs.

Other duties may be assigned by Manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: Up to one years’ experience preferred
Certifications/Registration: CPR/First Aid; TB Screening; Valid Class E Driver’s License
Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills
Ability to drive large passenger vehicles; Ability to follow and apply all safety standards required. The ability to maintain composure in potentially stressful and/or loud conditions.
